The Brownies’ Corner A large group of 25 little Brownies ringed around their Brown Owl at their last meeting and gave her the Garnd Howl reserved for special per- sons and occasions. The occasion was the last fieeting for Brown Owl Pelkey who will leave shortly for Terrace. All the Brownies and their Tawny joined in wishing her a pleasant journey and hoped she would be able to return before too long. A presentation was made on be- half of the Mothers Association and the Brownies by Bernie Bass. A farewell tea had been planned for Mrs. Pelky at Mrs. Kelt’s home but unforseen business kept her froin attending. Little Sandy Pelkey has left the Pack as she will he living temporarily with her sister at Canim Lake. All the Brownies joined in giving her the Grand Howl and all best wishes. First enrollment performed by Tawny Owl Deschene was for her own daughter Yvonne (Bonnie). Help is needed now in finding an assistant.
