Guests included Mr. and Mrs. J. Phillipson Mr. and Mrs. W. Mouat and Mrs. R. Boyce. Unable to attend were M and Mrs. H. J. Gardner. After dinn Santa Claus appeared and handed out gifts. He presented Mrs. Boy! with a lined sewing basket and set of eight: gold-painted glasses on behalf of the dormitory students. The dance started at 7:30 in the newly tiled ‘| recreation room, music was provided by Jimmie Petrie on his accordion and records on the newly purchased record player. Refreshments of cake, coffee, apples and oranges were serv- ed in the dining room. A good time was had by all. We are glad to see that Mrs. Boyce is recovering trom her sprained ankle. Donna and Joan McNeil motored to Prince George with their father on Tuesday. : The dormitory students are sorry to say-that Mareia Partington has left to go back to school in North Vancouver. Dog Creek News THE Community Club sponsored a dance Saturday evening in aid of the school Christmas tree fund. The community turned out full strength. Visitors from town included Miss Dionne Eagle, Frank Armes, Tony Parrott and Robert Ames. J. S. PLACE returned from Van- couver Thursday. THE Charles Places are also home again. MR. and MRS. J.
