ers in trucks. Snow on the lower
levels has completely disappeared.

A TRUCK LOAD of Christmas
trees was cut and trucked to Vancou-
ver last week by Reg and Gary Davis
where Mr. Davis is disposing of them.
Gary is trucking Christmas trees from
Haney to Seattle.

CECIL HIGGINS has been visiting
Mr. and Mrs. K. BE. Higgins while
hunting with his brother.

MR. and MRS. H. HARTWIG and
children have returned home after
motoring to Vancouver where they
spent several days.

NORMAN CARLSON motored to
Ashcroft over the weekend. He was
accompanied by Olaf Thornes, who
went to Kamloops on business. Mr.
Thrones has completed his dwelling
and after much effort has succeeded
in obtaining a good well.

To Visit Brother
For First Time
In Forty Years

K. B. Moore left recently to spend
the winter with his brother, Paul, in
Albuqueuque, New Mexico. He made
the trip by air from Kamloops, stop-
ping over in Vancouver for a day or
so. It will be the first visit with his
brother and sisters in forty years.

have gone to California for the win-

ticipants busy until 12:30 with time
out. periodically for coffee and cake.

Tatlayoko Ghost gold mines was
awarded the highest scorers, Mrs.
Sarah Schuk and Ken Haynes. Mary
Haynes and Helen Ryder won the yel-
low kiften offered as a consolation
prize.

100 Mile News

JOHN LEWIS and Mr. Holm of
Vancouver were at 100 Mile over the
week end.

MRS. G. BOURGOIS and Bob, of

to 100 Mile on Monday.
