Vows Exchanged At Noon Rites In Sacred leart Church | Sacred Heart Church was the scene of a lovely wedding Tuesday, November 10th, wh en Frances Irene Wainwright, Eldest daughter of Mrs. Dora Wainwright and the late Mr. Robert Wainwright of Preeceville, Sask., exchanged vows with Patrick Douglas Petrowitz, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Petrowitz of Chimney Lake. Father J. Boyle performed the ceremony at 12 noon. The white lace bodice of the bridal gown featured a row of tiny self- covered buttons from neck to waist, and long lily-point sleeves. The white net over satin skirt was slightly hooped at the hipline and fell in full. folds to the floor. Her embroidered net veil misted from a coronet of seed pearls, and she caried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and white carna- tions. Shé was given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. Sam Mitchell of Chim- ney Lake Lodge. Miss Hattie Bliss of Alexis Creek was bridesmaid in a blue net gown posed over taffeta. The lace bodice was studded with rhinestones. and a short blue veil formed her headdress. She carried a bouquet fashioned of write and yellow chysanthemums. Miss Esther Petrowitz, the groom’s sister, acted as flower girl and was dessed in a dainty pink silk gown, and carried a colonial bouquet of yel- low and white chrysanthemums Mr. Don Felker attended the grcom as best man. Mr. Mel Muyfield and Mr. Chet Leavitt were ushers. At the reception at the Columbus Hall later in the afternoon, the groom's parents and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mitchell received the guests. The bride’s table was centred with a three-tiered wedding cake flanked by white tapers. Mrs. M. Paulson pre- sided at the urns. The toast to the bride was: propos- ed by Father Boyle. Gaspard of Williams Lake. The ceremony took place in St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Vancou- ver, at 4 p.m. The bride chose a navy blue tweed suit with velvet trim for the occasion. A cloche hat of white feathers and navy accesories completéd her en- semble, and she wore a corsage of white orchids. Miss Katherine Muyechen, as her sister's bridesmaid, was attired in a navy blue taffeta dressmaker suit with matching accessories, and her corsage was also fashioned of white orchids.
