HORSEFLY NEWS FORMER CARIBOO RESIDENT BURIED AT HORSEFLY The funeral service of the late Mrs, Nora Biggs was conducted by Rev. Fielder of St. Peter's Church, Williams Lake at the Community Hall, Horsefly, on August 21. In- terment was in Mountain View Ceme- tery, Horsefly. Mrs. Biggs passed away suddenly at Hope on the seven- teenth. " She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Mrs. C. S. Newton, Hope, one son, B. Biggs, Vancouver, two grandsons, one great grand- daughter, three sisters in Horsefly, Mrs. B, Hooker, Mrs. F. C. Hooker, Mrs. M. Racher, one brother, G. Hockley and two brothers in Alberta. Mrs. Biggs was a resident of the Cariboo for a number of years. They didn’t —{ but were charmed with our country just the same. : Mr. and Mrs. R. Banks of Seattle, Wash., camped for two days at Hen- ry’s “Marston place,” and though no moose showed up to satisfy their hearts’ desire, they did see a bear and two deer. The Banks family declare that they had no idea such a peaceful, virgin country still existed in this rusliing world, and Mr. Banks has expressed a desire to spend the winter here.
