Dog Creek News

FOUR young braves who ran
away from St. Joseph’s Mission last
week were found five days later in
a cabin here. They were immediately
returned to the institution for fur-
ther improvement of the mind.

A NUMBER of our younger set
paid a surprise visit to the Norman
McMahans Tuesday night for the
purpose of bidding them farewell.
We understand they succeeded ad-
mirably. Mr. and Mrs. McMahan and
Dennis left for Oroville, Washing-
ton Friday, where Mr. McMahon will
take up a position with the Lesamiz
Hereford Farms. o

A. J. DRINKELL has been hon-
oured with an appointment to the
Board of Directors of War Memorial
Hospital.

visiting with her daughter and son-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Cameron,
for two weeks. A weekend visitor was
the latter’s brother, Mr. Stan Sharpe
of Vancouver.
