A 250 STUDENTS TAKE PART IN SOUTH CARIBOO SPORTS MEET About 250 children attended the South Cariboo regional sports day that was held at Bridge Lake May 30. The meet was sponsored by the Com- munity Club and Keith Maltman, Pro-Ree director from Quesnel as- sisted with the events. During the presentation of trophies following the meet, official recognition was accorded Jackie Brown of Forest Grove, who won the intermediate boys’ trophy in two consecutive years, 1951 and.1952, but through an over- sight had never been presented with the cup.
