TEACHERS ESTABLISH FUND TO ASSIST NEEDY STUDENTS Establishment of a fund to assi district students in straightened finan- cial circumstances to complete their schooling has been undertaken by the Williams Lake District Teachers Association. The association’ members made their decision at a meeting last Sat- urday when it was brought to their attention that there was a “pressing need” for such a fund. The teachers have deposited money from their own treasury to start the fund, and will also seek further donations.
