This figure would be far short of the actual moose kill as a result of the cow season though, Game War- den Leo Jobin has commented. RUBBER STAMPS THE TRIBUNE In support of his theory, Mr. Jobin ites the recent case of four local hunters killing rour cow moose in Beaver Valley. Sach moose was fol- lowed by a caf, the hunters reported to’ Mr Jobin, and according to the game warden it is extremely doubt- ful if one of these calves could last the winter without the protection of the larger animal. Two of the cows had been carrying twin calves and the other two single calves when the eareasses were inspected. On the basis of this theory then, the killing of four moose actually resulted in the elemination of 14 animals. Menswear Dept. Edmunds Ranches Turkeys now on sale by both Meat Markets in Williams Lake, are only 6 months old. They were scientifically fed to produce the right fatness, firmness of flesh, tenderness and mature appetizing flavour. They were kept on slatted floors 3 feet off the the earth were kept free of disease or other opje tionable features. Their special feed and runway space being controlled, they could not run them- selves thin or make their muscles tough or pick up tainted food as is the case with range run birds. . They were only fed fresh water during the 36 hours before being killed. They were individually chilled after being plucked which insures you re- ceiving far superior quality than -those packed warm and tight in boxes or cartons. They are the Broad Breasted Bronze type which has up to 15% more white meat and up to 15% less bone than any other breed. _You can either make or mar your Xmas dinner almost entirely on the quality of your Turkey. Edmunds Ranches Turkeys are of Paramount Quality in every respect, therefore, please be sure and ask for a turkey produced on EDMUNDS RANCHES AT MACALISTER, B.C.
