FROM STUDENTS’ COUNCIL a Students Have Busy Year Planned Although the late start of school classes this year slowed organiza- tion, students of the local high school are anticipating an active year ahead particularly in the field of student clubs, according to a report from the Students’ Council, The council, which is made up of house representatives. has elected its officers and committee member: last Friday was given great support by the students. Various clubs have been organized and some are already taking an ac- tive part in school affairs. The Drama Club, sponsored by Mrs. D. Stevenson is in full ine and hopes to produce a play in the near future. "A Sewing Club and a Library Club have also been organized. The latter group will work with the Williams Lake Public Library Association to give the students an opportunity to patronize a library of their own. | Publication of a school paper is the aim of the new Publication Club. Mr. L, Cantell has organized a club to study photography. In addition to this impressive ros- ter of student groups.
