shipped from 100 Mile now.

On Saturday the Bridge Creek Cat-
tle Ranch and Cliff Eagle shipped
cattle. Mrs. Jens took pictures with
her movie camera as the cattle were

THE JENS BROS. have bought a
new and larger planer and will soon
have it set up. They are building two
new houses at Exeter for the extra
men they will need on the larger
planer.

THE 100 Mile is busy putting in a
larger water main connecting with
the new water tank to supply the
100 Mile buildings.

H. AULD took two carloads of men
on Friday. one on Saturday and two
on Sunday to Mahood Lake Lodge.

THE Calgary Ramblers, radio and
record artists entertained at Lone
Butte Friday evening with a concert
and dance. Lone Butte is looking

that Mrs, K. Westbrook was 90 years
of age. This is incorrect. Mrs. West-

THE FIRST Superior School in the
Chileotin opened last Tuesday at
Alexis Creek, with 5 pupils attending.
Miss Hoare will teach the elementary
grades and E. Redekop the senior
grades. Among the children from out-
lying districts are Johnny and Rosalie
Church, Mary and Bileen Hutchinson
from Big Creek, Bleanor Butler from
West Branch, and Sheila, Robin and
Norman Lee, and Judy and Lloya
Saunders from Hanceville. There are
a number of other children who would
like to attend but so far have been
unable to find boarding places,
