Talented Youngsters
Visit For Stampede

Two little Chinese boys, who plan
on making the stage their career,
gave a short impromtu Western con.
cert on the streets yesterday morning
Just before the parade got underway,

The two boys, George and Jimmy
Owen are the sons of Mr, and Mrs. ‘T.
M. Owens of Quesnel.

Nine and seven years old respec-
tively the boys play accordians. The
entertainers play by ear and it takes
them about half-an-hour to pick up
a new tune, %

‘They made their first public appear
ance at Quesnel a year ago and since
then have played to audiences in
Prince George as: well as their home
town. Their biggest adventure wii}
come this summer when they join the
the Calgary Range Riders at the
Calgary Stampede.

Recently the brothers have added
banjo playing to their musical ac-
complishments.
