He read extracts from the Legion brief presented to the federal govern- ment in July, 1948, and stated that. the governments were no more ready to meet the recon- version situation today than they were two years ago. Henderson pledged the support of the veterans in labor’s fight for adequate reconversion plans, and stated that the split created between labor and the veterans after the last war would not take piace this time. CRISIS IN AIRCRAFT Alex McLeod, representative of Aeronautical Lodge 756-IAM, an- nounced that 2300 employees of Boeing Aircraft had been let out of employment at that plant on Wednesday.
