Workshop Opens Under supervisors, Nellie Mc- Kean, Norma Coffey, and Edna Sheard, the Vancouver City workshop for our bazaar and car- nival, will open Monday, Febru- ary 19, at 531 Homer Street. I will work on a daily schedule of 9:30 to 5 Mondays to Fridays inclusive, the bazaar on March 15. Four sewing machines, ma- terial of all kinds to do knitting, sewing, crochetting, fancy work and so on, form the equipment at the workshop. Afternoon tea will be served to the ladies who come down to work. Anyone may participate in this project. You| are-urged to come and do your sewing in this friendly sociable atmosphere. a vote for our candidates as well as all the proceeds from the articles made will go to our elec- tion fund. Some of the club projects al- ready reported include one in whieh the men are contributing | @ in the making of|| and that is wooden toys, children’s wheel- barrows, ete. Another club from|# out of town reports contacting some Indian friends to make baskets and other Indian handi- erafts to send in to the bazaar. Further reports will be forth- coming next week.
