Most of the major sports asso- Ciations of England will not be represented at the games, despite the fact that the London games Committee voted approval of hold- ing the games in Japan. it is expected that other coun- tries ip the” British Empire will follow suit. That France and the Scandinavian nations will not be represented is a knowm fact. O@ppo- Sition aroused in the United States may dim the prospects of Amer- ica’S participation.
