Morgan Thomas (V-S-G), 132, and Zen Davies (V.S.C.), 135, had the feature spot on the V.S.C. card and boxed two classy rounds. Len came out strong in the first and showed some nice footwork. He had the ad- Vantage in height and reach and Thomas had a hard time placing his ‘punches, often hitting low because of his bad timing and stance. The ref warned Morgan not to hit low and stopped the fight once but Len Signified his willingness to carry on. Morgan came out strong in the second but Len sidestepped him and countered with a left jab to the face. Morgan started to slug and Len added a hard right cross to the head to supplement his left jab. A hard right to the chin staggered Morean and the ref had to stop the fight. Mike Banich {V.S.C.), 55, fought his old sparring partner, Ronnie Johnson (V.S.C.), 60, and had an- other easy win, as usual. Stan Sowden (V-S.C), and Doc Walkes (Winnipeg), were scheduled to wrestle four five-minute rounds but Doe's shoulder was thrown out of joint in the fourth and the ref had to stop the match.
