Whereas each community in British Columbia at the present time must debate and consider the merits of French immersion-type elementary school instruction individually; and whereas the debate can take years and therefore deprives some children of the opportunity to be- come bilingual; and whereas many families in the Province of British Columbia are being denied the opportunity to take advuntege of the Ministry of Hducation approved and sponsored Cadre de Francais by 27 $1,864. reluctant school district administrations and Boards of School Trustees, Be it resolved that all children in the Province of British Columbia should have the right to receive their education in the official lang- uage of their parents choice, where numbers warrant.
