Ranger, August 18th, 1977, submitting samples of water pressure readings taken at the Celeste pressure meter this summer, and suggesting that, as there are sufficient funds in the Water Utility Fund, the design of the Phase III water distribution programme south of the Lougheed Highway be undertaken immediately so that the usual delay in delivery of the required pipe will noc be encountered. In his report, Alderman Ranger also pointed out that if the pipe is installed early in 1978, the usual low pressures during the summer months could be avoided. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That as recommended in a report from Alderman P.F. Ranger, August 18th, 1977, the design of the Phase III water distribution system South of the Lougheed Highway be undertaken immediately, with the monies therefore being obtained from the Water Utility Fund. Carried. From the Finance Committee, Angust 10th and August 17th, 1977, being Statements of Accounts Payable in the total amounts of $448,383.73 and $577,004.14, respectively.
