“Use

means the line formed by the intersection of the
exterior walls of a building with the roof of the
buildiog, including a false roof;

means any sign erected or placed wholly or partly
above the roof line of a bullding;

means any sign or portion of a sign which moves
in a revolving or turning Manner ;

means a non~illuminated portable sign cousisting
of two flat surfaces joined at one end;

means the minimum permitted distance required
under this bylaw between a Sign and a2 parcel
boundary; .

means any structure, device or visual display
which communicates information or attracta the
attention of persons for any purpose;

means the total area within the outer edge of the
frame or border of a sign but where a Sign haa no
frame or border, means the area contained within
the shortest line surrounding the copy;

means a structure constructed for the purpose of
supporting a sign;

means a highway more than 6 metres wide;

means a sign displayed for a limited period of
time in accordance with this bylaw;

means the purpese for which a building, lot, sign
or other etructure is arranged, intended,
designed, occupied or maintained;
