Once again this year, BC Transit is working in conjunction with CounterAttack to get more people home safely. It starts with a change in attitude. That is why we wish to speak directly to those special individuals in our community who have the desire and influence to drive attitude change ~ your members. We ask 15 minutes at your next meeting to explain the vital role the City of Pert Coquitlam can play. "Don't take the Keys" is a prevention program aimed at the individual. It's about alternatives and concrete actionable measures. It's about saving lives. The presentation includes a seven-minute, multiprojector audiovisual and printed materials; all set up and delivery will be handled by BC Transit staff. Room permitting, space for a freestanding 10' x 10! display unit is also requested. We will be contacting you the week of September 26 to answer any questions.
