Moved by Alderman Kery luk: seconded by Alderman Laking: That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to prepare a bylaw amending the Development Management Bylaw No. 2242, revising parking regulations as follows: 2(b) Multiple Family Dwellings 1.5 for parking stalls for each dwelling and | visitor parking stall] tor each 5 dwellings Off street parking regulations of section 9 (b). are modified as follows; i) 75 percent of the parking stalis shall have a clear length of 5.5 metres, a clear width of 2.7 metres and a clear height of 2.1 metres i) 25 percent of the parking stalis shall have a clear length of 5 metre clear width of 2.5 metres and a ciear height of 2.1 metres i) parking stalls suitable for handicapped i ividuals shail be installed to n meet the size requirements and number specified in the British Columbia Building Code iv) When a parking stal! adjoins a fence or structure over 300 millimeters in height, width of the parking stall shall be increased by 300 millimeters Carried. Moved by Alderman Stewart: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That City Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to endorse a contract with Intermark Services for provision of services. The contract is to provide a marketing plan and advertising strategy for the City's Economic Development Programme. The budget for this project is $10,000.00 of which half is being paid by the City and the other half by the provincial government's Ministry of Economic Development. Carried.
