A Bylaw to amend the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117".

WHEREAS the collapse of the bridge crossing the Coquitlam River and
extending to the District. of Coquitlam on Pitt River Road has placed an
unprecedented burden of traffic on the Kingsway Avenue bridge crossing the
Coquitlam River;

AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to prohibit vehicles that, due to

their. size, impede the passage of other traffics

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of

Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

l. Section 606 of the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117" is
amended by relettering the present clause (b) as clause (c) and
inserting the following as a new clause (b).

_"(b) No person shall use or ellow the presence of a Class 2 Vehicle or a
Class 3 Vehicle on the bridge crossing the Coquitlam River on Kingsway
Avenue."

2. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Traffic Regulation

Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117, Amendment Bylaw, 1982, No. 1920". °
