The Potters’ Guild of BC annually makes an award to students in ceramic pro- grams at colleges throughout British Columbia, This past year, six students, bwo al each of three colleges. have re- ceived $100 awards. The David Lambert Award for first year students went to: Jo Margaret Jinkerson at Capilano College; Marguerite Laliberté al Langara; and Laura Taylor al Emily Carr College. Com- mencing in 1941, the amounts of scho- larships will be increased to $500 for two scholarships to be named the Olea Davis Memortal Award, and the David Lambert Memorial Award, These amounts will be awarded annually to two deserving sludents tn ceramics whe will be completing second year studies at a College or Institution offering a Ce- ramics program. Application procedures will be through the participating col- leges, with submissions this year to be received mo later than March 31, 1991.
