B. C. GUILD OF POTTERS 315 W. Cordova St., Vancouver V6B 1E5 Newsletter, March 1974 Fellow potters - There seems to be a whole lot of things to tell you this .Month, and on top of it all the price of paper and printing has gone up - so this entire newsletter is going to get jammed into one great paragraph. When you've read it once, you'd better just check thru' once more. To begin with our next meeting will be on Thursday, March 2lst at the Maritime Museum to begin at 8 o'clock (oh yes we will). TAM IRVING will be our guest speaker and will talk about Crazing. Please come and bring your questions. Next on the calendar is March 29th - it's a Friday - and should have a big red ‘Reserved for Pottery’ note written across it. In the afternoon the Vancouver School of Art have invited 30 of our members to be present when Ruth Duckworth will be speaking and showing slides.(from 1 ‘til 2) If you'd like to go, phone Frances Fraser 985 1880. Frances has another problem ~- pots that went out on the first Travelling Exhibit - on loan from the potters, unnamed, and apparently unwanted. They will be at the next meeting to be Claimed.
