May 15 saw Pizza Hut face Kinsmen in a slugfest. When the dust had settled Kinsmen had their second win of the scason, outscor- ing the opponent 15-14, .. Another’ closing pitcher Ryan Casey had to bold the opposition scoreless in the bottom of the last inning to record the win. On May 18, Kinsmen put their 2 and © record on the line against SpeeDee Printers. Coaches used muscle and delernnination to drain the Jake at third base and repair a rainout. Kinsmen: started quickly taking a five-ron lead into the third inning. :} SpeeDee countered with .three runs in the third and five in the fourth to take a 9- 8 lead going into the last in- ning, Ryan Casey shut down the opposition on 9 pitches to give Kinsmen the chance .to rally in their half of ihe last inning. He went to third on a ground out, but following a strike out and a routine second to first ground out, Kinsmen suffered their first loss of the season.
