Page t, The Herald, Tuesday, March 17, 1961 TERRACE-KITIMA T AREA Diabetes group drive : Volunteer fund-raisers representing the Canadian Diabetes Association in Terrace and Kitimat will make a concerted effort this month to bring in the funds needed to support research and educational programs aimed at finding new and better ways to treat dlabetes - and, ultimately - to cure it. Dan Morrison says that the local association is looking for more volunteers to assist in the campaign this year- They should call him at 36- 3518. The annual funding func- tion of the Canadian Diabetes Association is not confined te one month, however. Funds are raised and funnelied into vital research programs and into health and nutritional education channels on a year-round basis.
