delegates to the Annual Meeting of Local 1-417 IWA.

They approved a resolution from the Vavenby Sub- .
Local which called for all horses on public highways at -
night to wear reflectors. The resolution pointed out there
are laws requiring bicycles to have reflectors and as
horses were a greater hazard to motorists, the same laws
should apply to them. |

The biggest problem for the delegates in discussing
the resolution, was where to put the reflector? Bill Schu-
maker, President of Local 1-423 IWA Kelowna, who was
in attendance at the meeting, drew the above sketch —
which he believes solves the problem.
