Works - Coquitlam Dyking District Reference is made to the Crippen Engineering Ltd. “letter dated . December 7th, 1974 and to my memorandum of December 9th, 1974, both of _which are attached hereto for information. The undersigned met with Mr. Bonham of Provincial Water Resources and Mr. Knight of Crippen Engineering Ltd. on January 16th, 1975. The following items were discussed; 1. The Proposed Inter-Municipal Agreement In: this regard Coquitlam's Municipal Engineer and. the undersigned have forwarded a proposed draft agzeement for consideration by the respective Administrators and Solicitors for review before presenting to the: respective Committees and Councils. 2. The Council Resolution of January 13th, 1975 ‘That the appropriate City staff investigate the reason that only one pump is proposed to be installed at the Prairie Avenue Pump House and submit a report and recommendation to Council thereon” - ‘Mrs. Knight . advised that they are considering an alternative to the Lincoln Avenue diversion and that a report would not be possible until this alternative has been more fully explored. 4, Hyde Creek Dyke ‘thie is etil1 being reviewed in detail. 5. Selected Pump Tenders The recent breakdown of the Dominion Avenue Pump was discussed with a view to this affecting the design and tender call of the proposed new pumping units. 6. Crippen Engineering Ltd. Letter dated December 7th, 1975 Mr. Bonham and Mr. Knight advised that if they are able to obtain a Council decision on the matter of investigating improved drainage beyond that provided under the terms of the Fraser River Flood Contros Froyramme within the next two weeks, there will be no delay or holdup in Cripre: Engineering Ltd. work.
