THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MAR 16 1992 MEMORANDUM B.R. Kirk DATE: March 12, 1992 City Administrator I.R. Zahynacz, P. Eng. City Engineer : Bus Stop Relocation - Mary Hill Road, South of Wilson (Public Works Committee Meeting of March 10, 1992) That the Council approve the relocation of the existing bus stop on the west side of Mary Hill Road directly south of Wilson to a new location approximately 30 metres to the south. That two "No parking anytime” bus zone signs be installed at the new bus stop location. The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project Engineer dated February 18, 1992 regarding a letter from BC Transit dated February 6, 1992 requesting the relocation of an existing bus stop on Mary Hill Road south of Wilson Avenue plus the installation of "No stopping anytime" bus zone signs for the new bus stop. | As the existing bus stop is located directly adjacent to a crosswalk on Wilson Avenue, it would help improve the safe sight distance at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Mary Hill Road by moving the bus stop to a new location approximately 30 metres to the south.
