SUBJECT: Request for Stop Signs - Public Works Committee September 6, 1989

Recommendation:

That the Traffic Regulations Bylaw be amended to include the placement of
stop signs at the following locations:

a. Northwest Corner of Yukon Avenue and Bradshaw Street
Southwest Corner of Hastings Street and Shaftsbury Place
Northeast Corner of Lincoln Drive and Coast Meridian Road
Northwest Corner of Lincoln Drive and Ulster Street
Northwest Corner of Lincoln Drive and Sutherland Street
Southeast Corner of Lincoln Drive and Bloomfield Place
Northwest Corner of Bracewell Court and Lincoln Drive
Southeast Corner of Bracewell Place and Lincoln Drive
Northeast Comer of Swire Place and Lincoln Drive
Southwest Corner of Sutherland Avenue and Lincoln Drive

Background and Comments:

The above request is for signs paid for by the developers in accordance
with our Development policy, The roadworks are now complete and the
installation of stop signs at these locations are Warranted. The Public Works
Committee supports this request,
