SUBJECT: Beaver Lumber Site Road Exchange

RECOMMENDATION: That City Counct! diract the Clerk's office

to prepare the necessary documents to
exchange roads and tand Surrounding the
Beaver Lumber site,

COMMENTS:

The Ministry of Transportation and Highways have determined
they do not require all o¢ the land taken as dedication beside
the Beaver Lumber site. As a result they have Indicated they
are willing to return some of the land taken in exchange for an
additional set back at the corner of Westwood Avenue and

Lougheed Highway.

This report is Supporting the fand exchange as it will both
improvement the Westwood Avenue ~ Lougheed Highway Intersection
and permit the Installation of additional} landscaping along the

Lougheed Highway side of the property.
