The Petition of the Clty of Part Coquitlam

HUMBLY SHOWETH:

That the Municipal Councl! of The Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitlam has
by Bylaw No. 2112 clted as the "Sutfolk Avenue (Plan 2294) Road Closure Bylaw,
1985, No. 2112" stopped up and closed to traffle a certain portion of Road
Therein described; r,

That the sald Bylaw No. 2112 of The Corporation of ‘the City of Port Coquitiam was
reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municlpal Councl! of The
Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitiam on the 22nd day of July, 1985 and a
duly certified copy Is attached hereto;

That the registered owners of all the adjolning and contiguous lands have
consented to the closure of the sald portion of Road deserlbed In the sald By | aw
NO. 2112 and The.Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has agreed fo accept
title to the land comprising the same;

That if Is na longer necessary To use the portion of read deserlbed In the sald
Bylaw No. 2112 as part of the road System of the City and It Is the desire of the
Councl! of the Clty to undertake the necessary statutory procedures [n order that
the land comprising the same can be offered for sale at a price not to be fess

than $34,300.00;

That by resolution dated the 22nd day of July, 1985 the Municipal Counc!! of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam author!zed the presentation of a
Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affalrs praying for the abandonment of the
portion of Lane deseribed In the sald Bylaw No, 2112 so stapped up and closed to

traffic;

THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the sald portion of
Road and Lane deserlbed In Bylaw No. 2112 of The Corporation of the Clty of Port
Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the Jand comprising same In The Corporation

of the City of Port Coquitlam.
