The reasons cited for extending that support were to co-ordinate municipal decisions about utilities, roads and development... A common basis for each of. these reasons is to “reduce the cost of government. by co-ordinating decisions. about ‘road. improvements and location of development so that extensive -eversizing of public.services will not be required... In conctusion, the major fear of eliminating this co-ordination ‘is the: possibte fiscal impact on communities from development in neighbouring municipalities. In view. of ‘this above.the Greater.
