A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on May Ist, 1978, His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbect, P.F. Ranger, L.M. Traboulay and M.A. Thompson in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Deputy Fire Chief J. Boileau, Planning Officer L. Lee, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer, and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: zoning Public Hearing His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend "Land Use Contract No. 18 - Amendment Document Authorization By-Law, 1978, No. 1595" would now be considered: By-law No. 1595: By-law #1595 The Amendment Document to Land Use Contract No 18 would permit the McDonald's Restaurant, operated by McDonald's Restaurants of Western Canada Ltd., at the northeast corner of Lougheed Highway and Oxford Street to extend its parking area northward for approximately 112' so as to include Lot 315, District Lot 466, Group One, Plan 51224, New Westminster District in the restaurant site and thereby provide 63 additional parking spaces. The use of "parking" would be the only use permitted on the said Lot 315. No one was present to comment on the proposed By-law. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend "Land Use Contract No. 15 - Amendment Document" would now be considered: By-law No. 1597: By-law #1597 To authorize the Council to enter into an Amendment Document to Land Use Contract No. 15 which would allow "take~out food service" as a permitted use. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918, Amendment By-law, 1978, No. 1598" would now be considered:
