Alderman Thompson commended Alderman Traboulay on valiant efforts to save the old building; however, he pointed out that longer it stands, the more it deteriorates and the Council is faced with a choice of spending a considerable sum of money to restore it or much less to demolish it. Alderman Laking stated he felt the building was in too deteriorated a condition to justify renovation, and Alderman Keryluk stated he was sure many feel a pang in their hearts to do what must be done — perhaps a little prematurely - but the Aggie Hall is now in its 64th year.
