WITH FALL arriving, things are
getting busy in the branch.

Our efforls now tum to
Remembrance Day, and our
Poppy Campaign.

Cmde. Bill McCrea and his
crew have been busy and are, J
am sure, still in nced of extra
help.

Our memorial marker is now in
place at the municipal cemctery

- with the ceremony taking place
on October 16.

Many thanks to those who con-
tributed fo this project and to
Cmde. Charlie Meek for his time
and effort.

Our zone meeting in Smithers is
over. Hopefully we will be host-
ing the 1995 fall mecting in Ter-
race,

Our sports chairman, ‘Cmde.
Frank Bowsher, is holding a fun
sporls day in the branch on Satur-
day, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m., including
darts, cribbage and pool, All
members are invited to come out
and support the sperts chairman’s
efforts.

are coming up soon on Nov. 19,

Winners will represent this
branch in the zone playdowns in
Terrace on Dec. 3.

This Saturday, Oct, 22, we're
holding a 50s and 60s dance at
the branch, so come on cul. We
need your support if we are to
keep having live entertainment on
weckends.

On Nov. 26 we will have a din-
ner and dance, With any proceeds
going to the purchase of new
branch colours.

We will in conjunction with
Canada Remembers be retiring
our old colours sometime in
1995, ,
