Moen shares the history, pointing out Brooks’ first report card to Keith Goodwin and his daughter, Katheryn, Celebrating | women’s history The court decided that under the terms of the BNA Act women were not ‘‘petsons”’ and there could not be ap- pointed to the Senate of Cana- da. In 1929 the case went to the British Privy Council, where the Supreme Court decision was overturned. The Institute presently serves 41 blind and visually impaired people in the Terrace area. Four new people have come to CNIB for the first time this year.
