With tears in his eyes, Curly smiled, . revealing his love and pride for those present. Florence looked especially lovely and proud on this special day as her eyes admired her husband. We were married on Aug. 21, 1936 outside in a garden, said Florence. She still remembers the reverend’s name. Rev. Adam Crisp performed the ceremonies. Curly and I met during that terrible flood in 1936, Florence said. We fell in love. The couple have one daughter, Lucille Bea- ton, and one grand- daughter, Lori War- holm, plus two great grandchildren, Ryan and Lacey.
