RECOMMENDATION
That this application ba approved to proceed for rezoning from Aql

(Agricultural) and RS~2 (Small Lot Residential) to Pel (Public Institutional)
under Section 963 of the Municipal Act.

BACKGROUND:

This application is to rezone 4 sitea within the Citadel Heights and Weatview
area in South Port Coguitlem from either A-1 (Agricultural) or RS-2 (Small Lot
Residential) to Pl (Public Institutional). ‘The 4 subject sites are:

1. A 2.053 hectara gite located Weat of Confederation Drive, East of Eastern
Drive, North of Klassen Court (known aa Skyline Park).

2, A 3.35 hectare site imnediately North of Hazel Trembath Elementary School
and East of Confederation Drive (known as Parksite #3).

3. A 0.98 hectare site located along Confederation Drive, immediately Weat of
the Hazel Trembath Elementary School site (known as Parksite #5) «

4. A 0.5L hectare site at the South end of Coutta Way (known as Coutts Park).

All four sites are designated as "Parks and Recreation" in the Official
Community Plan.
