BYLAW NO. 2662

4 Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan of
Tha Gorperation of the City of Port Coquitlam.

WHERZAS an Official Comminity Plan was adopted by the “Official Community Plan
Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162"

AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan haa been prepared and
after First Reading of this Bylaw the Councll has:

(a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the moat
recent capital exzpemliture program under Section 266 cf the
Municipal Act to ensure consistency between them;

(b) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with che
Economic Strategy Plan entitled “Port Coquitlam Industrial.
Development Strategy” to ensure consistency between them;

determined chat no applicable waste management plan exists for
consideration;

determined that the amendment to the plan does not affeet the
District of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the Dietrier of Pitt
Meadowa, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District,

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, In open meeting agsembled, enacts as follows:

1. Chapter “V" Development Permit Areas" of Sehedule "A" of the "“Offtelal
Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" 19 amended by adding the following,
to Section 2.1(6) as Subsection (6)(£):

"(6)(£) ALL vegetation used for landscaping shall he mature and of a
quality acceptable to the Municipality. All planting muat
comply with the standards of or standards similar of those of
the BeCeNeT.Ao

All material, other than vegetation, used for landscaping shall
be ‘non-skid’ type and of durable quality”. |
