Ownership of Property at Lougheed and Westwood This is to advise Council that the Greater Vancouver Housing Corporation has purchased the subject site. Following a meeting among G.V.H.C. representatives, the City ‘Engineers and the Planning Officer, the undersigned has received a letter from G.V.H.C. outlining the intended use of the subject site. Copy of this letter is attached to this meno, This matter was brought to the attention of the Planning and Zoning Committee on November 21, 1974. The Committee expressed objection to G.V.H.C.'s intent as outlined in its letter for the following reasons. 1. The subject site is low in the priority list for medium density residential development . : , 2. The best and highest use of the site has not been determined in light of the proposed Marathon Development not yet clear.
