Unbeaten Sons
Take Top Rung
in Card League

Native Sons of Canada took
their opponents into camp last
Friday night when the half-way
mark was reached in the schedule
of the Terrace inter-fraternal
whist-eribbage league. The Udd-
fellows teams, which up to this
point had led the way in point
scoring in both crib and whist,
were forced into second place, by
succumbing to the unbeaten Sons,

As was expected, some sensa-
tional games were plaved and
some record scores made. The
B. D. Bridge Club whist team
(Mrs. KE. T. Kenney and Mrs. J.
M. Hatt) made the highest score
yet recorded in defeating the
Rebekahs (Mrs. W. Smith and
Miss Greig) by 122 86, while the

-Native Sons cribbage team HK. T.

Kenney and J. M. Hatt) register-
ed the highest score yet. made in
that department, winning from
the Oddfellows (Jas. Smith and
W. Watt) by 145.28, TheG.W.
V.A. cribbage team, represented
by Geo. Little and E. Maurrin,
pulled up their organization con-
siderably by winning their con-
test by a good margin.

A slight error in last week’s
report gave the Rebekah’s whist
total as 402 instead of 392,
