Report on the Public Hearing for
The Official Community Plan Bylaw # 2848
Planning and Development Committee — November 9, 1993

RECOMMENDATION :

That City Council give Third Reading to Official Community Plan Bylaw No.
2848, including the amendments attached as Appendix I.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Hearing for the Official Community Plan was held on November 3,
1993. Approximately 100 people were in attendance.

COMMENTS RECEIVED AT THE PUBLIC HEARING:
Proposed Amendments:

From written submissions to the Public Hearing and from comments made
during the Hearing, a number of minor text amendments are recommerided to the

0.C.P. These amendments reflect comments and requests from the public to
clarify or enhance certain policies and statements in the Plan.
