To increase the ability of the lands to support agriculture.. In particular to
improve the drainage so that the fields dry out earlier so that farmers can get
cultivating equipment onto the fields early in, the season.

Activities of Proposed Project (How it will be done and by Whom)
Increase depth of ditches to agricultural standard.
Install pumps at Laurier Avenue floodgates.

Lower. culverts and enlarge.
Separate high level and low level pumps at Dominion Avenue.

All work to be done by City forces and by contract.
