f é The Circus is Coming to Town Three generations of family traditions in Wallace & Rogers Circus. When the Wallace & Rogers Circus comes to town, three generations of a circus family will be with the show. When Helene Rogers and John Hartzell were married they never thought that in the years to come they would found a circus dynasty. Helene Rogers - Hartzell was raised on her -fajher’s circus, where she became a circus star jn her own “right. John Hartzell joined the -show and after they {were married they travelled a flying ‘trapeze act as the Flying ‘Hartzeli’s. Three of their four sons are with them on Wallee & Rogers Circus along with three “Grandsons. Like all. circus ‘families they are a close knit family. Extremely versatile ‘they can work almost every acl “on the show, All are excellent. ‘gerialists. Helene Rogers stiil performs in the ring presenting Methu, the Elephant. One of her lovely daughter's in-law, who is from another circus family in England, presents the Tropical Bird Fantasy. The Three grandsons, who are two, three and four years. of age, help everyone, and like in every circus all other ‘performers, related or not, are unties and uncles to all children on the show, The Wall Wallce & Rogers Circus is one of the last old fashioned Tent Circus’ to tour ‘the United States and Canada.
