BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: A request was made for a cost estimate to install warning lights on the sign bridge at Shaughnessy and Fraser. Two amber lights would be situated adjacent to the existing pedestrian sign for each direction. (see attached sketch) The existing service panel for the sign bridge is located Shaughnessy and Prairie, the flashing lights will require additional wire from the panel for constant power requirements. The existing pedestrian signs are activated when the street lights go on.
