BY-LAWS : From the City Engineer, September Ist, 1977, advising with respect to Traffic Amendment By-laws Nos. 1556 and 1557 that provide for the conversion of traffic signs to the metric system (both By-laws now being available for further consideration), that by September 2nd, 1977, informa- tion signs will be posted at City entrances advising motorists that metric conversion will be taking place shortly; before September 16th, 1977, all speed limits will be changed to metric; and by September 30th, 1977, survey crew and man working signs as well as low and bridge clearances will be changed to metric.
