This IVR system uses __pre- recorded messages to provide quick access to basic information on income security programs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for callers using a touch-tone tele- phone, You will have to listen carefully to the message and push the button for the information you want. We Were told this new + system will decrease the time to process an Old Age Security pension from 15 days to half a day and an ap- plication for Canada Pension Plan benefits from 13 days to one day.
