Terrace Riverboat Days 2005 is an entire week
to enjoy the culture and history of Terrace and

area. There is something for all tastes and all” -
‘ages - music, food, sports events, heritage theme

tours, visual art programs and performances such
as. the Freestyle Motocross Madness. Of course,
the perennial favourites are back — the parade, the
fireworks display and Concerts in the Park. And
this year, headline act The Nick Gilder Sweeney
Todd Group, will perform at George Little Park.

The Sierra Club is. sponsoring a public hike in
“the Williams Creek watershed on Sunday, July |
24. The hike will be guided by naturalists and ~~

forestry professionals who will interpret stream
ecology .and the effect of logging practices on
it. Hikers will be leaving Cafenara at-10 a.m. and
driving to the Williams Creek area. The walk itself
will be approximately 90 minutes-round trip. Time
permitting, a visit will be. made to the Willliams

’ Creek ecological reserve. All welcome, especially
