From the Public Works Committee, June 29th, 1979 recommending that
the log which blocks off Ulster Street dust north of the Lacrosse Box at
George Pearkes School, be moved and relocated to a point approximately
200 feet south of its present position and that some rough grading be
done on the portion of Ulster Street in the vicinity of the lacrosse box
to allow R.C.M.P. to drive their vehicles directly up to the lacrosse
box for checking on vardalism.

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, June 29th, 1979
the log which blocks off Ulster Street just north of the Lacrosse Box at
George Pearkes School, be moved and relocated to a point approximately
200 feet south of its present position;
| AND THAT some rough grading be done on the portien of Ulster Street
in the vicinity of the lacrosse box to allow the R.C.M.P. to drive their
vehicles directly up to the lacrosse box to check on vandalism.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Laking suggested
the possibility of using one log barrier on Ulster Street rather than
one on the South and one on the Norch and it was agreed that the City Engineer
could use his discretion in determining the barrier's exact location.
Discussion ensued concerning the brush in the area and Alderman Mabbett

stated the School Board advises the underbrush will be cleaned up on the

school property.
